GPUScore Web 4.0
About the browser benchmark
GPUScore Web measures browser performance with fixed JavaScript, graphics, framework, and DOM workloads. It also reports browser capability diagnostics that are kept separate from the aggregate performance score.
Benchmark scope
What GPUScore Web measures
The Core, Graphics, and Generic suites measure throughput for repeatable workloads. They cover JavaScript execution, WebGL and WebGPU rendering, Canvas and SVG graphics, framework-driven interface updates, and direct DOM operations.
Result model
Performance scores and diagnostics
Performance-test results contribute to the aggregate benchmark score and should be compared using the same test version and configuration. The Conformance Suite reports feature coverage, responsive-layout behavior, and scripted UI responsiveness as diagnostics; those percentages do not increase the aggregate performance score.
Transparent methodology
Versioned test documentation
Every current test has a dedicated methodology page describing its workload, scoring or coverage model, and result interpretation. The benchmark test catalog links to all of them.
Published results
PowerBoard result publication
Completed standard runs can be submitted to GPUScore PowerBoard, where the aggregate result, system information, individual test results, and available measurement evidence are presented together.
