Test methodology
What does the React.js Test measure?
It measures the combined runtime performance of the browser JavaScript engine, React 19 rendering and reconciliation, and the browser DOM and layout pipeline.
What workload does the React.js Test run?
It repeats nine phases three times, including a 2,500-row component view, updates, reordering, removals, 500-row appends, visibility changes, rebuilding, 2,400 SVG nodes, and a virtualized grid sourced from 4,800 items.
Does the React.js Test measure two-way data binding?
No. The old description is inaccurate. React uses one-way data flow, and this test measures component rendering, state-driven updates, list mutations, SVG updates, and virtualized rendering.
How is the React.js score calculated?
Completed operations are divided by elapsed time and multiplied by the official test weight. Higher scores are better.
How to interpret the result
The result reflects combined React 19 rendering and reconciliation, JavaScript execution, DOM processing, layout, and browser rendering performance.
