Test methodology
What does the Svelte Test measure?
It measures the combined runtime performance of the browser JavaScript engine, Svelte 5 reactive rendering, and the browser DOM and layout pipeline.
What workload does the Svelte Test run?
It runs the same fixed nine-phase workload as the other modern framework tests, including large list operations, reactive SVG updates, animation frames, and virtualized image-grid rendering.
How is the Svelte score calculated?
The completed operation count is divided by elapsed time and multiplied by the official test weight. Higher scores are better.
Did Svelte replace the Backbone.js Test?
Yes. Backbone.js was removed from the current benchmark and replaced by Svelte 5.
How to interpret the result
The result reflects combined Svelte 5 reactive rendering, JavaScript execution, DOM processing, layout, and browser rendering performance.
